Moltera is a real-time browser RPG where every sword you temper to +9, every duel you win, and every item you trade belongs to you — powered by $MLT, the molten heart of the realm.
Most GameFi projects launched a token and bolted a game onto it. Moltera is built the other way around: a game people play because it's genuinely fun, with an economy that rewards the time and skill they already spend in it.
Create a hero — Knight, Mage or Rogue — and fight through a realm of goblins, orcs, golems and dragon bosses. Temper your sword from a splintered blade into a blazing +9 legend, grow your strength and vitality, and challenge other players to real-time turn-based duels. It runs in any browser. No download, no wallet required to start.
Rewards come from real activity and outside demand — not an endless mint. Fun comes first and earning sits on top, so the economy doesn't collapse the moment speculation cools.
Forge a rare blade and it's yours to wield or to sell. List it on the player marketplace at any price you choose. The realm's economy is run by the people playing it.
Challenge any friend to a live, turn-based duel. Attack, cast, guard or heal — the server runs the fight, so it's always fair and perfectly in sync for both players.
Push a weapon from +0 to a glowing +9. Every attempt has a success chance and real risk — fail high and your blade can drop a level. Classic forging tension.
List any weapon you own at your own price. Each listing shows its type, forge level and attack power, and sellers are paid the moment their loot sells.
Knight, Mage or Rogue, each with a signature skill. Equip swords, armor and accessories that change both your stats and how your hero looks on the battlefield.
Spend your earnings on lasting strength, vitality and defense. Progress is saved to your account — log back in and continue exactly where you left off.
Duels are resolved server-side, and the economy is moving to a fully server-authoritative model so balances, forges and trades can't be faked in the browser.
A fixed supply, real utility inside the game, and allocations weighted toward the players who make the realm worth playing. The figures below are the project's launch design.
The token isn't live yet — this is how it will work at launch. New to crypto? These are the same steps for almost any token. Take your time and only use funds you can afford to lose.

No. Moltera is free to play in your browser with just an account. $MLT adds an ownership and trading layer on top — it enhances the game, it isn't a gate in front of it.
Yes. The RPG, the +9 forge, real-time PvP duels and the player marketplace are already playable. The on-chain token layer arrives in Phase 02.
It's the currency of the realm: in-game purchases, marketplace fees, premium forge attempts, staking, tournament entry and governance. Its utility is tied to actual gameplay, not speculation alone.
$MLT has not launched yet. The token generation event is Phase 02 on the roadmap. Announcements will be published on this site and on @PlayMoltera first — treat anything else as a scam.
Combat and duels are resolved on the server rather than in the browser, and the wider economy is moving to a fully server-authoritative model so balances, forge results and trades can't be tampered with.
Create your hero, temper your first blade and claim your place in the realm — before $MLT goes live.
